Well, yanno i've been at an animal sanctuary for the past few weeks and i've decided to stay there volunteering until they can get me paid work there. Dont know how long that will be, i'll just have to be patient.

Well, patient in one department, just not the other. I just couldn't resist the cute face of one of the staffy x labrador pups there. He was one of three and all of his brothers finally found homes and he was the only one left. I couldn't leave him there, so now i have him! ^.^ In a way, i reckon he chose me as when i was cleaning the pups out, he was the one who always wanted me to fuss him when his other two brothers were busy fighting each other. I fetched him home yesterday and he's settling in nicely. He's very well behaved, a bit scared of stairs and likes to watch telly! ^.^ My other dog is a bit grumpy with him, but she'll settle down in time and probably let him know she's the boss around here! ^.^

I named him Griffin and as soon as i upload pics to my PC i'll show them to you!

But DOGS on the otherhand I love, there cute when there puppys and they can grow up to be beautiful or just totaly awsome... who wants a cat...

I know someone who has a staffy lab, it is mental, and huge and strong, and very intelligent and it likes to eat shoes.

my sis just got a new dog.  Its a cute little pug  ,  Its soooo cute.  It will come up to you and all but lick your face off if youre laying down.

wishy   I have two and they are the best thing ever labs are great  expesaly when you play frisbey with them
hope all goes well for you at the kennel  I did it once untill I had to be the excutioner  then I had to leave  I liked life all life  and I just couldnt take that part   but feeding and cleaning I had no prolbem   I even enjoyed taking them out for walks
but I'll warn you now that there will be a lot that touch your heart I know I wanted to take them ALL home  exp to save them from the end

Hey Kristie! The sanctuary i volunteer at have a no kill policy ^.^ Unless it's absolutely necessary i.e: for the animals health. I had to accompany a staff member the other week when someone fetched a very ill cat in that they 'couldn't afford vet bills for'. It was too late for the cat, we rushed it to the vets, only for them to tell us it would be kinder to the cat to put it to sleep  Poor thing!

I've not tried frisbie yet with Griffin! We have one too!  Maybe when the weather looks better i'll introduce him to it on the back garden!

I hope that yours doesnt tire you out like mine do  almost like they dont get enough  (for them) when I have had enough   wish I was 20 yrs younger just to keep up with them
Glad they have a no kill policy  it was hard on me expecialy when I had to take the van out to pick up abused anmals  a lot of time we had to put them down there  on the spot  then there were thouse with the exotic anmals that was another nightmair in its self   my heart went out for so many it just was two hard on me to except   otherwise I would have stayed
I just lost a Black cat that I had as a kitten he lived 18yrs the vet told me that he was just about the oldest that he knew of    I just hate the short years that they have  its hard when you both get so atached   I learned that I enjoy each and every day I can spend with them and yes I do spoil the a little LOT   but they deserve it

Ps they expecialy love tug a war take a old sock and put a tennis ball in  it and tye a knot next to the ball cheep fun
