Hi everyone. Im excited about my upcoming FFS and BA next month with Dr Chettawut. He is doing the whole face..however the reality and fear of recovering ALONE is starting to sink in.
If anyone has experienced solo recovery could you please briefly share your story?
Im mostly concerned about washing my hair and wiping my butt with stiches under my arm. With rhinoplasty how long do you have to sleep mouth breathing? Neck pillow? What supplies would you recommend i stock up on? Dry shampoo? Straws? Jelly? Custard? Is milk readily available in Thailand? Sorry for all the questions. Appreciate the replies ox

Only answering part of your post, but milk in Thailand is just fine. There are 7/11, Family Mart and other such shops literally all over the place (I swear that there are 7/11 shops next door to each other here!).

Most of these will have full fat, many will have skimmed and occasionally some will have semi skimmed.

Go to a bigger supermarket (Big C or Tesco Lotus) and you'll find just as much as you will back home.

I can only respond to the rhinoplasty question. After surgery your passages may be packed and if so, the packing will need to remain in place for a week. After that you will be able to nose breath however it might be difficult because of accumulation in your nose. You will not be able to forcefully clear your nose for a while after surgery so partial mouth breathing may still be needed. The up side is my nose had a partial blockage that was removed and after all the swelling went down I could breath through my nose at a fast walk.
