About me: I'm intersexed and always questioned my gender identity even before I knew I was intersexed, but the good news. I started MtF HRT this week, absolutely the happiest day of my life even if it was muddied by my mother outing me to my sister, I just wish I started years ago. Anyway, I'm sure it's not going to be all peaches and roses since I live in the upper Midwest, but at least I am finally being me.

  I'm Laurie. I'm mtf myself and I'd like to welcome you to Susan's Place. Moni left the door open (I swear she must have been born in a barn) be that as it may come on in an  have a seat. Take a good look around when you are rested and make yourself at home.
  Congratulations on starting on you HRT medications and I'm right with you on wishing I had started long ago. I started last year at 64 years old. And you are certainly correct in thinking your journey is likely  to have it's ups and down. I hope your ups are high and your down are not much of a problem.
  Also I'll add some links and information below that can help you get more out of our site. Please take time to become familiar with them especially the RED one as we are always getting questions that are answered there.
