Just wondering if anyone noticed any further changes in their body after their orchie or SRS?

I know anti-androgens should technically do the same thing with regards to removing T but did anyone notice less body hair or anything different in terms of hormonal/body changes after surgery?

I'm wondering if physical removal of testes is more effective than anti-androgens in terms of changes.

For me, I experienced much less hair on my body below my neck. I was very hairy before anti-androgens and they helped reduce body hair somewhat. But after GCS, I really noticed over a years time, that my body hair really decreased.

I wish it would do the same for my face. Electrolysis hurts.

I can't speak first hand, but one of my good friends has been though her full transition.  She noted that after her testes were removed as part of her GCS her metabolism slowed down more and she had continued breast growth.

This has been the experience of quite a few folks, and is something I am hoping for.

Much of breast tissue growth governed by hormones is a response to lack of testosterone, rather than presence of estrogens.  With the main T sources gone, growth can pick up.  Antiandrogens are a little odd, trying to block receptors for T in some cases and reducing production of T by interrupting a biological feedback path.

The surgical changes... get to the source...  :)

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

I am only 4 months post op so experience is limited to that time. One thing to consider is that after surgery you no longer fight the testosterone so they reduce the amount of  E you are on (by half in my case.) My breasts are smaller because I no longer take Progesteone (It caused an elevated blood count.) I have experienced some hair seeming coarser especially on my upper lip. I am not sure it is related. I guess I would say everyone is different and it may be hard to predict the effect. I will know the effects better in a year maybe.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I'm just hoping my body hair will continue to disappear after my SRS. I don't have much and it's very fine hair, however, it's dark hair... Still getting laser on it so maybe in another year it won't be as much of an issue.
