Bloody heck I had a bad one the other night. Does anyone else suffer from them?

The background is, I guess, an adjustment to my testosterone and estrogen levels which was probably made rather too quickly.

Nasty things and when you get them in the night you can easily panic. I wondered if this rings bells for anyone?

Likely, too little testosterone and not enough estrogen to replace it. Advise your doctor if this continues for more than a few days.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

I had them both after GCS when I lost all hormones in my body and again when I was off hormones for about 10 years. The hot flashes take about 1-2 years to end but in the mean time, get used to sleeping on sweaty sheets. I didn't have panic attack but I would wake up in the middle of the night and throw all my covers off to get cooled down.

That's so helpful everyone. Thank you so much.

I think my oestrogen may be too low then. I will seek professional medical advice.
