Hello all you lovely people!!
I just had to share again: I GOT A JOB!!! AAAAHHHH!!! My "big brother" Sean (a trans guy who's AWESOME!) not only got me off the streets, he got me a job @ Price Chopper w/ him! It seems like a fantastic place to work, too, for
many reasons: I'm going to be part-time, & they're willing to work w/ me to keep my hrs low enough so I don't lose my insurance; they are very supportive of trans people (nobody batted an eye when I told them I was trans & transitioning), & nobody cares if I present as female; & they want me to learn as many different positions as possible, so I can actually make a career out of working there (which I totally plan to do)! I'm so excited, cuz I'm ready to start living as a female FT, but I haven't been able to cuz I haven't had an income... now, knowing that it's right around the corner... ahhh!! I CANT WAIT!!!

I just wanted to apologise to a few girls I've left hanging in PMs, I'm sorry! Things have been crazy busy as I'm finally getting my life back on track, but I'll try & get back to y'all ASAP!!

I also wanted to say thanks to all of you, no way would I have been so far along in my transition without your guidance & support!! You are some of the most wonderful people I have ever had the privilege to know! Thanks for being so awesome everyone!!

Oh, & I almost forgot: once I'm living FT I plan to start dosing out of the methadone clinic! I have no need of it anymore, & I'm ready to take my life back!! [emoji4]

Congratulations.  I'm glad things are going well for you.

I worked at price chopper/freshco for a number of years they are a good outfit to work for. I believe fulltime staff even get health benefits.
