I am not out in every aspect of my life. Sometimes I have to dress as a male. Can anyone suggest various pieces of feminine attire that I could wear while dressed that would be feminine clothing without being unmistakably feminine? For instance I have removed the logo from my Gloria Vanderbilt jeans and wear them with a long sweater, the pockets are a giveaway. I was thinking about clogs for casual wear. Any other ideas? 

Some years ago I went shopping with my mother.  She decided I needed a pair of gloves.  It turned out that only women's gloves would fit me.  The ones I got were plain black and woollen, and I don't think that there is anything obviously feminine about them except for the picture on the cardboard tag that was attached.  If your hands are small enough, you could wear women's gloves in a unisex style.

When I lost my hat in Kenya some years ago, the only one that fit me in a local shop was a 2nd hand blue fedora with a band identifying a local girls' school.  It looks manly enough without the band and nobody notices that it has a girl's name written inside.

When you don't have to wear smart shoes, you could wear unisex flip flops.  (I'm not sure what they are called in the US.  I once lived in a country where they were called "thongs" but they are footwear, not panties.)

On a camping trip many years ago, a woman brazenly took my flip flops, so they obviously seemed feminine enough for her.  (She offered me her own flip flops, which had a built-in floral design on the thong part.  I liked them but I couldn't accept as I was trying to act manly, so I had to walk gingerly barefoot for the next couple of days before returning to the main camp.  Fortunately, we were in dugout canoes most of the time.  I am obviously a woes for not demanding my own back, but I get confused when confronted with new social situations.)

I wore women's jeans for a few months before officially coming out. I even combined it sometimes with a girl's hoodie I bought online. Nobody ever said or asked anything about them.

Mary T. Thank you for the welcome. It was so nice to read those words on the first answer to my first post. My hands are small enough to wear ladies gloves. I think I will look for a pair that push the envelope slightly I love to be daring.

I regularly check websites that post pictures of celebs and fashionable people in casual everyday street style (googling "street style" will get you a lot). I save pics that I like, then when I'm shopping for clothes I check these pics and try to find items that come close to looks I like.

For androgynous dressing these days you can't go wrong with skinny jeans. I don't buy the super tight legging-like jeans, but most regular skinnies are actually kind of ambiguously loose on my scrawny legs.

Lately I've been buying snug women's long sleeved t-tops and mock turtlenecks. Black is the most common color for those, but I wear navy and dark red as well. I'm not big on white.

And, of course, there's nothing more androgynous than a long, relatively feminine hairstyle-- maybe with highlights. Consider it. Earrings really put you in the club. If you become very good at makeup, you might go for an androgynous "no makeup" look (that really includes a good deal of makeup). Just don't lay on the lipstick and you might be OK.

Something I am wearing now is perfume.  Floral, and I wear woman's tanks with thin straps and wide scoop necks under all my shirts.  Just like a male dancer wears, 

Continuing on MikeP's suggestion, women's deodorant is worth remembering, if you don't wear it already. There are stronger, more obvious scents if you want, but even the deliberately neutral ones are very different to men's neutral.

I wear woman's stretch jeans, ankle boots with 2" heels, also in this weather you could wear woman's vests with wider straps as I do.

During this unusually hot summer we have been having here in the UK I have been wearing women's shorts a lot. If you look they are clearly female as they are too short to be male - and no fly either. I have a few pairs that I wear out and about.

Like MikeP and Lunarite I also wear female deodorant and perfume - and recently started to wear an anklet.

If you like an athletic look, Converse sneakers are a good one. The same shoe is sized for men and women. Also many womens sweat pants and pullover tops (zipper will be a giveaway).

For the most part nobody notices because they are too concerned about themselves and most are on the phone with electronic relationships.  There also is a ton of Unisex marketed fragrances in-case you need to have the security knowing it is marketed to both/any gender.  Fragrance is heading unisex for sure.  It should!

So many options!  Women's jeans (which fit better anyway), underwear, some women's shoes in very large sizes, a gender neutral watch, wearing women's knee high socks under your pants, and even...wearing leggings!

I always wear female deodorant, large faced female Rose gold and diamond faced watch, always underdress in holdups and panties.

My everyday work attire is woman's black stretch jean, holdups, panties, bra under work t-shirt, female deodorant, earrings, mascara and a neutral shade of lipstick.
