Hi all,
Needless to say, I'm scared. I have been on HRT for less than two years (started somewhere april 2016), that means daily: one t-blocker and twice per week : hormones...
So far, the hair has been manageable.
Today, I sad my dermatologist, one week and two days after my visit to the hairdresser. A color shampoo was applied and the hair was simply brushed out (still looks great by the way, longer than I expect)...
Of course, hairspray was applied as well.
Today, the dermatologist takes a tug-test (tugs my hair to see what comes out) as quite some come out. Of course, the hairspray that kept all the "daily overboards" on my head now loosens grip to...
He prescribed a spray, to be applied twice per day. Next visit in three months. He mentioned to combat the effects of testosterone right on the scalp...
Comming home, I did a thourough comb int he bathtub to see what came off...perhaps 20 or so strands...
Is my song over?
I'll have my SRS any time soon, so the testosterone should'nt be a problem anymore after that.
Thanks for holding my hand
Melissa
