"Former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore [currently the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Alabama] has long railed against allowing transgender Americans to serve in the military. On Wednesday he took his statements a step further.

"'The transgenders don't have rights,' Moore said Wednesday according to the Montgomery Adviser. Moore was at a press conference touting endorsements from 13 county sheriffs.

"Moore was twice removed from the state Supreme Court, first for defying a federal order to remove a large statue of the Ten Commandments from the courthouse. He was most recently removed for advising judges not to honor the U.S. Supreme Court's decision legalizing same-sex marriage."

Last gasp from a dinosaur. That rhetoric doesn't sell to the (educated) general public anymore.

It sells in Alabama.

Several women have come forward today accusing him of sexual assault when they were underage.  That doesn't sell in Alabama so it all may become moot.

I did say it doesn't sell to the (educated) general public anymore. Not a knock on Alabama, just a knock on whoever wants to live in the past.

Just out on a conserve web site. Roy Moore seems to have had sex with a 14 year old when he was 32 in 1979. I don't know if the statue of limitations has expired but if it has, he is still going to have problems with the voters accepting this. The rule of law is for thee but not for me.

I am not sure if this will get me administative action on the site but I have to say it for reality's sake. Even IF, there is substance to these accusations, which there seems to be I have doubt to believe he will lose the Alabama Senate race. Lets face it, when the access hollywood tape came out that had Trump bragging  about doing what other women have accused him since the early 80's of doing, all he had to do was say fake news and the masses accepted that. See, Roy Moore who back around 2002 denied a lesbian mother custody of her children and ruled in favor of her ex, the father, despite the fact that there was substantial evidence he was abusive. Even in 2002, I doubt the average American thought an abusive parent was better then an LGBT parent but Judge Moore did. That, and the fact that he has maintianed anti-lgbt stances his whole life shows he hasnt changed. He litterly put those kids lives at risk just to punish a woman over her sexuality.

That, is just one of too many bad things he has done. In addition to the alleged (borderline) pedophillia that man harboured and maybe, still does he is a bigot on a host of issues. He should have been nowhere close to the Republican nomination let alone the general election. Still, in Alabama he will win. Mark my words.

Oh dear. This is insane. We are in dark times. This is no longer a Democrat vs Republican issue. This is your country, America, going to hell in a hand basket. Seriously,  Whereas John McCain, who I have always respected is doing the honorable thing, that other guy, Jim Ziegler is basically turning the eye to such a horrible thing. This is were morals go out the door. Judge Moore and that poor teenager are neither Joesph or Mary dammit. Sadly, that is how they deflect. Yet somehow they make a living targeting us as predators. Sad state of affairs in America.
