Is there any way to remove forhead bone cement?

The doctor has inseterted hydroxyapatite cement and im not satisfied, is there any way to burr it down and revise?

Welcome to the forum Pipe Guy!

Are you a pipefitter? I use to do a lot of that work!!

Anyway...I believe it can be done... It may be necessary to do a coronal incision to make it happen but I would talk to your doctor... I ended up having a lot of forehead work due to complications from type III forehead recontouring that affected my frontal sinus drainage... Everything resolved well in the end... Please let me know if I can be of help or if you would like doctor recommendations!

Thanks for you answer, but i know my doctor knows how to do endoscopic forehead contouring, do you know its possible to have revision with it?

I mean burring down the bone cement and revise it as it was?

I had a friend who had problems also... She had endoscopic burring and ended up with ridges  where material was removed unevenly.. She finally opted for a more invasive revision which involved coronal incision which gives the doctor much more open access to address things

Did she want the ridges back?  Because i do want them, I am a male and i miss my prominet browridges, i feel my life has changed a lot since the surgery. Such a weird feeling.

No she did not want the ridges.. Their appearance was unnatural and bothered her a lot... Coronal incisions are definitely Surgery with a big S but I have had 3 of them during my surgical journey ... You will have scarring but it is placed inside the hairline forehead and scalp will be completely numb for some time afterwards and recoverey takes a while ... Stitches and staples across the top of your head from ear to ear... Everything is a trade off but I'd schedule a consult and start talking with doctors about the outcome you want and see what they say is involved in getting you there

Thanks but im not sure if i really want that cornoal icisions. I wonder if the doc could just burr down what he inserted by endoscopic way
