Gay Activists Line Up Potential Presidential Nominees

The Gay & Lesbian Leadership Institute launched its Presidential Appointments Project last week to recruit openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) professionals to serve the next president of the United States.

The organization will "identify, recruit and vet" LGBT applicants for thousands of government jobs that will be filled with political appointees.
