Hi everyone,

My names Ellie. I did previously have an account but I've forgotten the details and I never got around to doing an intro anyway.

I was completely unaware of my gender dysphoria until about 4-5 months ago. I've crossdressed all my life but suppressed the dysphoria subconsciously until I was accidentally outed by someone at work when they saw me on the internet and I finally admitted to one of the girls I work with that I thought I wanted to be a girl.

Since then I've been seeing a therapist and I'm now at the point of accepting that transition is what I want to do and I'm waiting to go to the Gender Clinic.

I've started going out as Ellie now, though very much part time so far, and I enjoy it a lot however scary it is.

I'm married and my wife is becoming more accepting of it, and is hopefully reaching the point where we one day will be able to just live normally again as two hopefully sexy ladies 😀

I won't ramble on anymore but that's Ellie in a nut shell.

Hi Ellie, welcome back. I am Jayne, a trans woman from Australia. My wife is also accepting and slowly coming to terms of what our future may look like.

It can be a very scary and bumpy road we travel but also very rewarding when we start being true to who we are.

Hello Ellie, welcome to Susan's!

If your wife is becoming more accepting of your recent developments that's awesome - consider yourself very fortunate to have a partner who is interested in your happiness.  I was single when I started transition (I am MtF, Seattle area), having support from within the family is priceless.

I'm glad to hear you are seeing a therapist.  I hesitated at that for too long... wish I had gone to one sooner.  For that matter, I wish I had found the community here sooner but here we are!

Thank you for posting your introduction - looking forward to seeing you around!

Hi same-name-as-me! :D

(I have to say, I am really curious why so many of us seem to have gravitated to the same names. Not even like Ellie is a particularly common one in the world. ;D)

I've always liked it since I went to school with an Ellie and I wanted something unmistakably feminine.
