Is there a list of American insurance companies that cover ffs?? I've been looking around and can't seem to find any. Most of the ones I've seen only cover grs

They all probably would if it's in the policy and the policy would cost more. I work at a state university and the policies we have only cover hormones, but the two other state schools cover SRS. We don't have any written policies regarding transitioning either and when I asked HR, they didn't give me an answer, yet, we're all about diversity, sustainability, climate change and all the progressive talking points, which amounts to lip service.

It depends on the state requirements but more importantly what the company agrees to with the policy they buy into for their employees.  While my company's BCBS, Massachusetts policy covers FFS, others in that state may not.

I'm unemployed at the moment. However, at my previous job I couldn't find any info on trans related services outside of hrt and therapist visits. I was with care first blue cross. I just thought maybe there were plans on the healthcare exchange by state that included ffs coverage. I have no problem buying private insurance as long as ffs was included

Unfortunately that seems to be the case with lots of employers, Unless of course you work for a major cooperation. It seems odd that srs is offered and not ffs. In my personal opinion ffs is way more important than srs if anyone hopes to pass. Srs is certainly last on my list

My wife works for Wells Fargo and they cover transgender care. I think they have about 250k employees. Where I work there are 23k employees. More than the other state schools that do cover. Maybe being closer to governor db  has something to do with it.

They are adding coverage for genital electrolysis, FFS, and voice therapy for 2018.  :)
Some people say I'm apathetic, but I don't care.

Wells Fargo
We don't get our health insurance through Wells anymore. It's too expensive. It's half of what it costs at Wells through my job and there's no deductible.
