In an effort to get to meet some new people both in Ontario and around the world, I've decided to come to Susan's Place.
About me: My name is Jess, I am a 20 year old FTM transgendered individual, and I am an aspiring police constable.
I moved to Ontario from the West Coast (best coast

) in 2015. Hobbies include soccer, any other sport, reading, outdoorsy things, video games, learning about law enforcement, and the gym.
I started testosterone a month ago...Halloween 2017, baby! Like anyone else, I'm both excited and impatient re: changes. However, all good things take time...and I've heard the process goes by faster than ever when you focus on life and not the transition. Here's to hoping.
I lucked out with my transition - went to my college doctor and at the first appointment I was prescribed T. I'd already come out to my family and friends in the previous weeks and I dress rather masculine so that helped with a gender dysphoria diagnosis (a requirement to receive hormone therapy in ONT). I wish I'd started sooner - a few years back my gf at the time stated she'd support me transitioning, but I never really thought about it. Only a few years later (cue: now) did I finally realize who I wanted to be. Things fall into place when they're meant to do so.
Anyhow - I look forward to meeting you all. I posted a link at the start of my topic, which outlines how I look and sound like. Perhaps anyone interested can watch and see the changes at they happen for a 20 year old dreamer in Canada. Feel free to message me if you'd like to know more. Always down to meet like-minded individuals (and those with their own opinions).

Peace and love, everyone.
Jess.
