Has anyone had this? Once a week, I'll go to sleep at my normal time, then I'll wake up around 3am and not be able to get back to sleep until maybe an hour before I need to wake up. Normally it's a Sunday night, but this week it was Monday. I believe this started when my e dose was upped, but I'm not sure. It's really annoying since It slows me way down at work, and takes a day or two to fully recover from. Has this happened to anyone else?

I get insomnia quite often but I don't believe it's the E that is causing it

I believe it's more likely attributed to the depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation associated with the stress of my financial and living situation

Sorry but I'm with VM in the cause though the circumstance are different. I am now take pills to help get to sleep and another to help stay asleep longer both over the counter but under doctor recommendation and monitoring. I'm now getting 4-5 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night and get back to sleep fairly easy.
Since they are OTC I can say one of them is Melatonin to make me tired and generic Benadryl to help keep me asleep. Both are fairly inexpensive. You might talk with your doctor and get their opinion on wether they think something along those lines could help you.

Hugs,
  Laurie

I used to have insomnia.  Sometimes it would take me two hours to fal asleep.  If something woke me around 4am, there was no possibility of getting back to sleep.

Since starting HRT, all that has gone.  The spiro wakes me up twice in the night to go pee, but I never have trouble falling asleep again.
