    The Transfigurations show itself is a fantastic thing and has been touring the country in various forms for years. Transfigurations is a very well-done portrait display of both male-to-female and female-to-male transsexuals, including their individual statements on what transition has meant for them in their lives. It is not sensationalistic in any way, indeed, it is perhaps the most moving and humanizing work I've ever seen put together on the transsexual community. I am honored to be a part of it. It is something I recommend viewing for anyone who is trans, or has a friend or loved one involved with the transsexual community, or is even simply just trans-curious.
