I'm hosting dinner for friends who would otherwise be alone Christmas Day.  Our menu:

Garden salad
Kale
Roasted yams
Sesame asparagus
Whole turkey
Cranberry Orange sauce
Cranberry Walnut bread
Apple crisp with vanilla bean ice cream
That's a really nice thing to do. :)

Christmas dinner will be roast goose, sausage stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli cheese casserole and sweetpotato cassarole.  I'm also making green bean casserole for my brother. I totally don't like green bean casserole but he loves it. Ewww!
For dessert I'm making a pumpkin pie, pecan pie and for Tristan I'm making Tim Tams.

I'm calling shenanigans. You can't make Tim Tams. That's like a homemade Big Mac that comes on white bread!

I never said they were authentic. There are recipes for them on google and I am going to use one of those. I already made a Tim Tam flavored cheesecake. Yeah, that recipe wasn't very good. Lol.

I know. I just wanted to make him a homemade version. Anyone can buy them from the store. I once made my brother oatmeal cream cookies. You can buy them from any store but he liked my homemade ones better.

Tim Tams sound good, I have never seen them in stores here. But then stores here suck. And I say go homemade! Except for with Oreos. Homemade Oreos are just wrong.

It's the same with Tim Tams. I nearly used the Oreo example myself. Like a Whopper on pumpernickel.
