My two daughters in my life now love me still.I went through the adoption process which became final yesterday. Both sisters and they are 14 and 16 years old. They are glad that their Christmas wish is true,in a forever home finally after being in foster homes for a long time.Through it,I did tell them I am in the transition process and educated them very well on this. They saw me as a normal person in life right away  knowing I was struggling before I started my transition a year ago.I am called Liz and sometimes mom by them seeing I care about them. They live with me now and see me as female. They have asked me about my transition too.Overall we have became a family.

Liz, that's wonderful! Thank you for sharing this with us. Sounds like everyone is getting gifts this year, the kind you can't put wrapping paper on.  :)

Hugs, Devlyn

Such wonderful news Liz  I have a son who still loves me, it was rough during my beginning transition years, yet he still supported me and even referred to me as his mom as well and still does, his biological mom passes away last March from medical complications.

Liz  One thing I am sure of. Family is everything. An understanding family is priceless. That's why it was difficult to come out. But, they handled it just like I taught them. My Son, who is now thirty still gives me hugs every day. My daughter takes me shopping. Even mom realizes her life is better since I started HRT.  My thoughts and prayers are that all of my friends on Susans get the love and respect they deserve. I wish I could give out hugs to everyone. You are blessed to have them and they you.
