Getting big has a lot of variables. Some are genetic, some are environmental. The combination will affect outcomes. Some people have a tough time gaining muscle, some make it look easy. Those are outliers. If you want to lose weight, Deborah gives good advice. I've gone ketogenic since June and have lost 87lbs. I've lost 102lbs in the last year. All with dietary changes. Lastly, I'll add one component a lot of people miss with heavy duty workouts: sleep. The body needs adequate rest to repair and adapt.
