Welcome to Susan's.

Spironolactone or other androgen blockers are not necessary after genital reassignment surgery.  Blockers are used to counteract testosterone.  With the source of most testosterone removed, they would be unnecessary.

Estradiol would normally be continued, in order to continue the feminizing physical effects, and to continue the mental improvement.

Food restrictions would be specified by your doctor, based on your personal health status and blood tests.  My doctor did not give me any food restrictions (I asked), but that does not mean that another doctor with another patient would not.

Blood test results will of course vary from one patient to another.  My doctor aims to keep my estradiol between 400 and 600 pmol/l, and my testosterone below 2.0 nmol/l.  But different doctors may follow different protocols depending on their training and the patient's health.  Your doctor will be able to tell you what are the desirable targets for you.

1) Spiro is not a hormone, it's a hormone blocker. Testosterone is a dominant hormone, so it will counteract any estrogen in the system. To femenize, trans women that still have their testes have to take Spiro to block the testosterone they produce. After GRS or an orchi, only Estrogen is needed.

2) Not as far as I've noticed.

3) It depends. If our medicine is properly attuned, they look like any other girls', but maybe with lower testosterone.
