Estradiol (E2) levels fluctuate during a woman's lifetime and during her menstrual cycle. At around the time she is about to ovulate, estradiol (E2) peaks, reaching levels as high as 760 pg/ml (or 2,790 pmol/L, multiply by 3.671). If a woman becomes pregnant, E2 levels go even higher, as high as 75,000 pg/ml (or 275,000 pmol/L) at around the time she is about to give birth.

Hopefully clearer. :)
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

All;
I have blood tests every 6 months and I am due for another next month. At my last test my Estradiol (E2) showed 604 pg/ml, but previously it was 240 (12 months ago). Ideally my GP said he wants it above 260 pg/ml on a regular basis. I had the blood test done 2 hours after I took my morning dose. I take it twice a day at 10pm and 10am. My Testosterone levels on my last bllod test were 0.9. Since my last tests I have now commenced a nightly dose of Micronized Progesterone (Promethium) taken just before I go to bed. I am just starting month 3. I take it continuously, but from month 4 onwards I am supposed to move to a cyclical regime of Day1-15 Oestrogen only then Day 16-18 low dose of Progesterone + Oestrogen twice daily, then Day 19-30 double dose of Progesterone plus Oestrogen twice daily.

I will be having my next blood tests just as I finish my 3 months "trial" on the combined regime.

I do not take any T Blockers as my Testosterone levels have always been very low (for years).
