It's made from horse's urine. Has many chemicals and creates chemicals that your body can't use. It's isn't bio-identical hormones which means it's a foriegn hormone for the human body.
It's very hard on the liver, high risk of blood clots, stroke etc....
It can give you good results but the problem with it is obviously the health risks.
Bio-identical hormones such as Estradiol and estrofem which is 17b-estrogen has MUCH lower risk than all other hormones. Even when taken orally it is well-tolerated by the liver, doesn't mean it can cause liver toxicity it just a lot more safe. I believe estrogens such as ethnyl estrogen carries a risk of 1000x more than bio-identical hormones.
Bio hormones when taken through the blood stream by injection, sublingually, patches or gel are much safer than orals.
