Here is an article about my "coming out." It covers my physical, emotional, and spiritual transformations upon accepting myself. I am a well known small business owner located in a small town in Pennsylvania and I pretty much have complete acceptance from everyone I know. Susan's Place has helped me countless times throughout my transition, so hopefully I can help someone in return. Thank you for your time. ❤ Danielle

Dani

Hello, I am an other Dani. Welcome to Susan's Place.

A few years ago, calorie dense comfort food was killing me. To help me lose over 100 pounds, I went on a primarily vegetable and fruit diet. I lost about 5 pounds a month by eating right. No pills. No surgery. Just eating the way I was meant to. Giving up the processed foods was the single most important thing I did in my transition.

I am happy to see you here as your experience will help me convince others that to lose weight without starving your body is to eat right. I am 68 years old and I have lived through many different fad diets. They come and last a year or two then fade into obscurity. The only diet that works for everyone is a permanent change in eating habits that favor fresh fruit and vegetables.
