OMG, I LOVE chocolate!! Around 2 months into HRT a friend bought me some truffles from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and it was AMAZING. I had never knew chocolate could taste so good!! I'm highly partial to both dark & white chocolate. Milk chocolate is kinda meh.
My friends have a box of cordial cherries sitting in the kitchen unopened. I SO want to dig into it! My mom got me a bag of Lindor assorted chocolates, and I'm trying my best to eat them slowly.
So yes, I absolutely agree that chocolate is better with higher estrogen.

Anything tastes better dipped in chocolate but there are limits. Many times I've told someone to " go eat a bug". Now I find out it's actually a thing. Lol

One of my brother's friends ate an earthworm once because the other guys dared him to. Not only was it not chocolate covered, it was still alive. 😖😖😖😖😵  Guys ate so weird. It seems like guys can't refuse a dare. Hmmm if I dared my brother to start doing all the housework I wonder if he would do it? Probably not, only a dare from another guy seems to work.

I tried chocolate covered crickets before.  Had I not been told what it was before hand I would have thought it was one of those crunchy crisp rice containing chocolates.  That's exactly what the taste and texture was like.  It was surprisingly "normal" tasting to be perfectly honest.

I chewed up and ate the worm in a tequila bottle once at a party.  That act was most definitely spurred from drinking liberally from said tequila bottle first though.

I know about the dares though.  In my high school the big dare was two guys putting their firearms together and then setting a lit cigarette between them.  The first one to move his arm lost.  Both were left with burn scars though.  Someone dared me to do that once and I just declined and said that it was a really stupid thing to do.

Back in the day when things were illegal, my friend and I spent over $200 1972 dollars on chocolate munchies of all kinds. I think that is where I got diabetes.

You aren't the only one Kathy  It does say firearms but I am sure she meant forearms. I must be from the same time frame because that was a thing when I was a teenager. Just another form of playing "chicken"

I believe Dawn was referring to another item that was illegal that was known to cause extreme cases of the munchies. It's legal here and where Dawn is now.

Chocolate was not illegal. Chocolate was the cure. Not the disease. It's called munchies my dear and is an outgrowth of too much lawn clippings. AKA grass.

I like dark chocolate, but I tried the 85% and that was a bit too much for me. 60% is about my level. And the one with the red chili in it? ahhhhhh delicious!  ;D

I like the 85% and the cherry and orange flavors. Chili is also good.

Yes, it was forearms.  I hung around with lots of rednecks but ones without firearms.

I have a few favourite chocolates, but I've never been what I'd call a "chocoholic". I start therapy next month, so once I get approved for HRT, I think I'll have to make sure I have some chocolate before and then after, so I can see if there's a difference. I never really thought about this before lol!

I've always loved chocolate.  HRT makes it even more amazing.

I've always liked wine as well. When I came out a friend commented "that explains the wine and chocolate thing"
I want some of both now! Unfortunately, it's 5:00 in the morning and I have to leave for work soon.

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Yesterday I ran the 15k "Hot Chocolate" race in SF Golden Gate Park.  The medal looks like a chocolate bar and chocolate throughout the course and lots at the end.
