Court's homeschool ban creating 'panic'

"A ruling from an appeals court in California that a homeschooling family must enroll their children in a public school or "legally qualified" private school is alarming because of the way the court opted to order those results, according to a team of legislative analysts who have worked on homeschooling issues in California for decades."

I don't have the references and links handy, but the court ruling the WingNutDaily is bleating about is an ancillary ruling to a case involving a household where the father had over 60 guns not under lock and key, the house and children were 'filthy', and the eldest daughter ran away because she was regularly physically and sexually abused by her father.

I believe the ruling was to answer the father's charge that he had the right to homeschool his chattel children...
