Hello I am looking for updated information on some of the better FFS doctors and same for SRS/GRS as the forums I have found appear to be outdated by at least a year if not 2, I was looking into Bowers or Rumar for SRS but Bowers has a 3 year wait list and I have seen some bad information on Rumars. Rumars also does FFS does anyone know if she is any good?

Yes, almost all of the surgeons have long waiting lists. FYI, many of the surgeons have accounts here and will see your posts.

Great thanks for the response Devlyn. Do you have any recommendations on surgeons for either FFS or GRS?

I you want to see some photo's of SRS results search google for "A collection of links to photos of SRS results". I don't think  Dr Rumer's in there but Dr Bowers is. The difficulty with Dr Rumer is the the number of negative posts about her. All surgeons have them, but she seems to have way more than usual. Also, no photo's.

I can't speak for the other surgeons but I was impressed by both Dr. Meltzer and Dr. Ley when consulting with them for my gcs. I chose Dr. Ley and was very pleased with the outcome.

I had FFS with Dr. Harrison Lee who has offices in Beverly Hills and NYC.  He does good quality work.  I used Dr. Gary Alter who also has offices in Beverly Hills and NYC.  Alter requires you to pay up front and then he will bill your insurance company and then send you a check after the insurance company pays him.

Do you know if Dr. Lee takes any insurance at all I called his office and they said they would check but have not gotten back to me.

I know they do for some things. Try checking with them and see if they have got an answer for you.

I Am Jess  are you happy with the work Dr Lee did? I am thinking of going to him too

I'm very happy with what he did for me.  I saw him for a couple issues.  I first went to him because I was having nose problems (collapsed nasal valves and deviated septum) that was covered by my insurance.  While I was getting that fixed I had him do a trech shave.  A few months later I went to him for my FFS and BA.  I had my hair line lowered, forehead contoured,  brow reduction, brow lift and my upper and lower eye lids done as well as BA (500 cc Mentor Memory Gel under the mussel).  If you look at the RealSelf website I did a review on him and you can see my before and after pictures.  I really like what he did for me.  I had my BA after 6 months on HRT and I've had absolutely no issues.  I've posted a few pictures on here so you can see what they look like.
