Hey! I'm here trying to figure things out, for a long time through high school and now through uni, I've questioned my gender, and a lot of the times have felt as though I would be happier and more confident as a woman. It's not like I hate being a guy exactly, but as long as I remember I've felt jealous of girls and wanted to be able to wear different stuff, and admittedly look like them. And well be them. And have fantasized about being a woman for as long as I can remember, and for a long time, I tried pushing it down. But now the feelings have become more persistent and constant, so I thought I should try and figure things out. Oh! I posted before on the Transgender talk before I realized there was an introduction haha sorry about that :)

Hi Daisy 🙋‍♀️ I agree it does take figuring it out.  It's a process that therapy in many forms does help.  Susan's is a great place to start, but a gender therapist can do wonders.  Have a frank talk with your doctor and discuss your issues.  He or she can get you in the right direction hopefully.

Hey Daisy, welcome to Susan's!

It's good to question yourself and your future options.  I did that when my age was in the single digits to a certain degree, and then I shut that all down as a teenager and buried my thoughts for a few decades - and then finally woke up and decided to transition.  I think you're doing exactly the right thing by thinking and asking.

Really glad to see you here!
