No I'm not detransitioning (barely even into it lol) but now I get when women say that!! They don't really mean it just that it's a lot of work being a girl! It's a lot of fun too lol

In other news I really think my estradiol getting increased has helped my mood a lot!

Your so right Allison!  Guys don't even need to comb their hair.  I recently talked to my hairdresser about a longer style, sassy.  She booked an appointment a month farther than usual.  She said you will need to use a hair product everyday to look my best.  My wife is thinking I won't want to do that (I was one of those "no comb" ones).  I think I have a different mindset than I had then, and I'm looking forward to fussing with my hair.

@ Allison S:  You are very correct about guys versus gals.  One of the reasons that many transition timeline pictures show such a dramatic change is that the pre-HRT boy mode picture many times will show an unshaven, disheveled and unkempt appearance and the post-transition girl mode shows a picture of tidy clothing, combed hair, makeup and a happy smile.
You are right, it is a lot of work to be a woman.... but well worth the extra effort......   however, for me it is very disheartening to see women that do not take care of their clothing, body hygiene and appearance.... i.e. ...  just go to WalMart some evening and look at many of the customers.  I envy them because they were born in a woman's body but from there it went downhill.

Yeah hair is actually fun. I feel like that's what I've always missed. It's more makeup and outfits that make me feel stressed. Well clothes are fun when I see they fit me but since I'm just starting it's all so new to me still.

Yeah I actually feel pity for them even though I really shouldn't. I mean I was born male and obviously have my flaws... but then being born biologically female seems like such a privilege to have. It just didn't pan out that way in this lifetime...

Being cis certainly would have been a lot less trouble for me...

That said I'm not above BB cream and a hair tie on days where I just don't care.

   I never wish I was a guy. I see them and many times scratch my head wondering how they could possibly like being that. I know I am further into my transition now. When I first came out I couldn't wait to put that bra on. Now can't wait to take it off. I think our standards of how we dress change over time. I am waiting and watching for my first trip to the mail box in curlers, slippers, and pink robe. That's when I know I've made 'the big time.' lol

That made me chuckle... and yes you are correct, once the novelty is gone, reality of being a woman sets in, but it is all good for sure.

Monica that is so funny. I think they would need to be pink bunny slippers.

Sometimes I had wished I could make my feelings go away. To be cis would have made it a lot easier. But I have never been a guy in my head so I don't know for sure. What I do know is now I am myself and free to express who I truely am. I am sometimes just happy with no reason why. So much nicer being real.

Hahaha... dropped my kid off at day care in yoga pants, sweater and flats. Hair a giant mess and makeup far away... and I still felt great about it....
