Hi all...I'm on my way to finally live my life. My first meeting with my therapist is next Tuesday. She said she would provide a letter for me in as little as two sessions. I can't wait to start on hrt and eventually go to Thailand to complete my transition. I'm on my way.
Looking forward to learning more from the ladies here. Thanks for having me!

Hello Jennifer, I hope your first therapist meeting went well yesterday.

I was so excited to take charge of a very important part of my future and that has not worn off even slightly.  I started HRT 6 months ago today. 

And I'm glad you're here!

Hi Kendra, my therapy went better than I could have imagined. I've never been able to talk about my feelings before. Michele my therapist was kind and understanding. She confirmed what I have always known. She even recommended 2 SRS docs in Thailand. She also told me to start looking for a doctor to prescribe hormones. I have one more meeting and she will issue me a letter. She explained that transitioning is like climbing a ladder and I'm on the first rung. I'm excited start climbing now. My journey is about to start. Thankyou Kendra!

Hi Jennifer, welcome to Susan's Place! Your primary care physician can prescribe the meds, you may have to help them out on where to find any information they need to look at, but we have that here. Im glad it's all going well for you!

Thankyou Delvyn..I was at my primary doc yesterday and chickened out telling him. We guy a long way back and it just wasn't the right time. On a positive note I have the prostate of an 18 year old...won't be needing that anymore..lol...

I don't know...I've been enjoying mine.
