Not sure entirely if this is the best place to out this, if so sorry.

Ever since I was earl/mid teens I've known I've been attracted to women. That's fine. But now I'm mid/late 20's, not transitioned but ready to - over the past year I've started to 'notice' men a bit more. Not as strongly as women, but I feel like there's something there.

Is/can that be a thing this late into my 20's?

Clearly this is a thing for you, so the answer has to be yes.

You are attracted to whomever you are attracted to.  That's just the way it is.  You can put labels on it if you want to, but why worry?  The label would be "bisexual".  It's the B in LGBT.

Hi Kathy/Sarah;

The answer is unequivocally yes, especially if you are on a transition dose of HRT. I have been on HRT for nearly 5 years and I started out 100% interested in Women only and identify as a "Lipstick Lesbian". I go to a number of Lesbian Meetup groups in both Australia and the United Kingdom. However after about my 3rd year when my Endo increased my Oestrogen dosages and I moved to twice a day and especially when my Testosterone dropped to 0.9 with my Oestrogen levels now regularly at 600 pg/ml, I would say that I am about 60/40 interested in Women/Men. That is I am clearly in the bi-sexual space. Some men really are very noticeable! This is even more apparent in the last two months since I have been on Progesterone as well as Oestrogen. These days I am effectively Hormonally 100% female. Have a nice ride

I'm just starting my journey but I'm bisexual about 80/20 attracted to females more. I'm attracted to penises however not men. If men didnt come with a penis I dont think Id be attracted to them.
Once I get on HRT I'm smart enough to know that may change but thats where I stand for now.

For years I've known I was bi-sexual.  I enjoy men and women.  The problem I had with men was that I was a man, and that to be happy having sex with a man I needed to be a woman.  That revelation is the straw that broke the camels back and sent me farther towards my truth.

If these things are fixed at birth--a proposition often argued in LGBT circles--then the answer is probably no.

I believe the answer is yes.
