I've always lived to work. Never the other way around. I did some things because I thought I should, or was expected to do it, but that's more a matter of obligation and responsibility than of 'needing' it in some way. Some people do need to work to survive, but there are a lot of people born to weath that never 'need' it in the same way that people born without that advantage do.
