So....I can't help but notice, the more and more the HRT does it's thing, and the more I feminize myself......the more I have been realizing that I look very familiar to myself.  I look very much like my sister!  And I've had a few people tell me this.  My sister is rather attractive, and people tell her she's beautiful all the time.  She is three years younger than me.   But......I just want to be my own self.  I don't want to look so much like her.

How many of you have a sister, or a brother that you find yourself looking more and more like as you get further along, and are you okay with it?  Do you wish you had "your own" look and don't like being told how much you look like your sibling whether you are MTF or FTM?

All of my siblings look nothing like me, due to them being half siblings. I'm best friends with my cousin on my mom's side, and I've been told we look a lot alike, especially since I've started presenting as female.

I had the same observation last time I was putting on makeup. After straightening my hair  I looked up and oh my gawd. Sister has always wondered if we had the same father. Well Sis I can attest we have the same Dad. The proof is right in front of us.

I don't have siblings, well half-brother, but I don't look anything like him....thank God!

However, with make-up I look exactly like my mother. She died some 16 years ago and I've thought myself so many times when looking at the mirror, that I look like my mother.

Now on Christmas, my grandmother when she opened the door, her first words were, that oh my God you've changed a lot, you look exactly like her child, my mother.

That was nice  :)

I have no sisters.  I am happy to be looking less and less like my brothers.   >:-)  I am looking more like my mother, though.

I'm a dead ringer for my mother, which I'm cool with.

I look more like my dad than my brother does and my sisters had a different father, they're 19 and 20 years older than me. So I guess I look like myself.

My Mother and I looked very similar before I started HRT. It will be interesting to see what gappens as time progresses.

When I did the faceapp thing, the first person I saw was my mother.  My sister has a different father so I don't look like her.

This is very interesting how many of you say you look like your mother!  I guess I look so much different than my mother still, that that one had not even crossed my mind.  I think I got way more of my dad in me than my mom, so I am very happy to be looking less and less like my father.  But I don't really want to look like my mother either.

I have always tried to model myself after my older sister. She has helped me a lot over the years and always refers to me as her "Kid Sister".

So, if you look at my avatar, to me, two things pop out; one I see my mom in that picture as well as my sister.  My sister is three years younger so she'll have to get use to the idea that she looks like me now :)

Yeah I did one of those picture face gender swap apps and I look like my mom. Only good thing is my mom was very attractive when younger lol.

My niece had sent my Avatar picture to both my sisters who are younger than me.  While I see my mom and the elder of the two sisters in my picture, my younger sister insisted that I looked like her.

I had to beg to differ as I am the oldest so therefore they look like their older sister :)

I definitely look a lot like my sister and some of my female cousins.  That really freaked my sister out when I showed her pictures of me post HRT, but then again we were always undeniably siblings from the start.

Interesting post!  I don't look anything like my mom.  She had a very dark olive complexion, brown eyes and brown hair.  She was very attractive.  In 5th/6th grade, my friends said all the time they would...um...you know.  Which would embarrass me to no end.

I look like two of my aunts and my one cousin for sure.  So much like her that people have seen pics of us thought we were sisters for sure.  That's all on my dad's side of the family.
