I am doing great, far better than I expected at this point in time. But I must also say GCS has its challenges and unavoidable pain. And then there is dilation, and the first month in particular.
I just drove to Eastern Washington State and back to run a few errands (170 mile / 275km round trip) - Saha went along. I hate to admit getting my own car briefly stuck in my other driveway in deep snow a few hours ago but I did... keys to my 4WD truck were at a different property a ten minute walk away, roads clear but snow everywhere else. Saha stopped me from using the snow shovel. Neighbor gave my car a quick pull with his truck, problem quickly solved. I'm back at Beth & Saha's now.
Kendra & SahaI was driving my old Audi although I'll have to rename it - as of Jan 18 my audi changed to an innie.
I'll write a larger post in the next day or two with the list of exactly what I brought for the GCS trip and found essential or not, and what's needed at home on return. And things I found helpful to do while there. Many others before me have done this (Moni, Michelle, Tia Anne) and I'd like to pass along similar information in case this can help anyone else.
