I'm posting for no other reason than to say, someplace, how ecstatic I am to have started with Androgel this morning!  ;D ;D ;D

I had pellet implants for about a year and for a whole range of reasons decided that wasn't a good route. After a delay getting in to a new physician and then a slight delay awaiting Rx prior authorization, I picked it up yesterday and... yay! I kept dreaming about it last night. Crazy!

I know there's a real range of information out there about coverage so I'll just say that at my dose and with my insurance it's $20/month. It would be almost $600 out of pocket. If I increase dosage, it could be more expensive. It's a balance between how many bottles cover 90 days, the co-pay per bottle if receiving more than one, etc. But, since there's so much out there about it being cost prohibitive, I just wanted to share that with some Rx coverage, it's more than reasonable.

Woo-hoo!

Congrats! I was on gel for a long time. I discovered I prefer injections, but to each their own, it's good that there are choices. Hope it works the way you like.

Awesome! I recently started T and I'm on Androgel. I have insurance coverage which makes it much more affordable (I'm in Canada). It's been easy to deal with so far, even mood and all that. I'm just impatient now to see more results but I know things don't happen overnight. :)
