I have never worn a binder before and today my one came from gc2b that I ordered over a month ago, but when I put it on I feel like it didn't bind very well and am wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I won't fit into the smaller size so it can't be that size that is wrong and if I wear it how I had it today, I will still get called a girl and it kind of pushed my breasts up?? Please help I'm literally in tears I actually can't live like this I hate myself

Relaxe. Try moving your chest inside the binder with your hands. Don't push them under your chin or it will be like a push up bra. Flatten your chest where your breasts are supposed to be. Might be easier lying on your back.

Underworks binder worked better for me. But it might be because it's the right size. Going to buy another one from c2gb or what it's called in a smaller size. They are softer in fabrique.

Hey, don't worry! This doesn't take any of your value away, just because the binder is the wrong size! I am having the exact same problem right now, contacted the support service. They were super nice, i sent the package back today and as soon as they receive it, i can exchange the size for free. They even offered some "measurements advice" whatever that will be, since i seem to have taken mine wrong way... So, my advice would be a short contact via email, and exchange for better size.
Not sure if this okay (if not, some mod please let me know!) bit here's all the info about return shipping

Good luck!

if it's the correct size, maybe you just need to adjust it?  sometimes i have that problem when i first put mine on and i just have to reach in and move things around a little until it looks right. i guess that's to be expected when everything gets compressed like that, it has to go somewhere.
if that doesn't work, you might just need to try a different brand, maybe one with a stiffer fabric like underworks.

Since no one else has said it yet, if you're over a certain cup size nothing you do is going to get you completely flat in a remotely safe way. In the right sized binder, my F cups gets down to like, a C cup depending on the brand and how new the binder is. It's an improvement, for sure, but I still obviously have a female chest unless I layer a ton.

I know it's extremely disheartening, but binding too tightly can cause complications that mean you won't be able to bind at all in the future, and even screw up your ability to have top surgery.

Wrong size? Wrong style? Wrong brand? Wrong expectations? With binders, it isn't one size fits all! Sometimes you have to play around with everything to figure out what works best for you - don't be discouraged if your first binder isn't right. When i first started binding i probably exchanged binders for a different size/style/brand a dozen times! Most places are very understanding.

You also have to get used to putting them on, adjusting yourself inside of them, and wearing them. Sometimes you have to move things around to get the desired look. You also have to accept that you're never going to be perfectly flat while binding - unless you're tiny, there is going to be a lump in that general area. Gotta learn how to position it, gotta learn how to dress and layer over it, and that's really the key to binding IMO. Learning how to work with what's left after you've found the right size binder!

TBH the GC2B binders have always felt loose, at least in comparison to the Underworks binders. I have the half top and the full length versions, the half top binds better than the full length but i still feel like i'm... is "bouncing" the right term? It feels loose. That doesn't mean it isn't binding, though - with layers on overtop i'm comfortable enough with both binders to wear them to work (they're more comfortable for my job anyway since i stand all day, lift, etc.) I pass well enough.

In comparison the Underworks binder almost always feels restrictive. No "bouncing" in that one unless i wear it every day for a week - then i pop it in the laundry and it goes back to "normal". I feel like it does a better job binding, but it's not as comfortable - in fact the new one i just got to replace the one that's falling apart is very rough and scratchy. It's left marks, which i never remember being a problem before (maybe they changed the fabric?!?)

So you may just have to play around with everything to figure out what works best for you. I also want to point out that if you're looking down at yourself, or at yourself in the mirror without a top on, you're probably not going to get the same effect as someone looking at you with a shirt (or layers) on is going to get. I always see "chest" when i look at myself, even if no one else does. It's a mental thing. I've learned not to look at myself unless i have my shirt on, or i'll always be disappointed.
