Hi all, I'm going on my fifth week postop. I understand the white 'cocoon' on my clitoris is normal but how long until it goes away? I know 6-8 weeks is standard heal time but does that take longer?

Hi and welcome to the site,

Sorry I can't answer your question. I'm in a holding pattern before my surgery for a year or so. However, there are a lot of girls on here who are several months along in the process. Hopefully they will find this and can help you out.

I also want to share some links with you. Mostly welcome, how to start and rules.

Once again, welcome to Susan's. Look around, ask questions and join in.

Hi and welcome aboard sister!!!

6-8 weeks was about the case for me... mine got a bit...stringy... and came off a bit at a time until one day it was just...all gone!!!! All will be well... Patience is your friend during the healing process!!!...

Onward we go brave girl!!!
