I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this particular gender identity, known as the Eunuch identity?  I've read about such individuals before from my historical studies, but I never actually knew it was a gender identity until reading about it recently.  When I recently read about it, it sounds so much like me in terms of what I want, but I was wondering if there's anyone out there who themselves identifies with this type of gender, and if they could please tell me more about their personal experiences such as how they discovered who they are, what it feels like, etc.

Thank you!

Welcome to Susan's Place. From what I have seen, being an eunuch isn't part of the transgender family. We have had member who identify as such and from them I learned that there are website for people who identify as such. Because there are many identities in the transgender family it's possible that you are transgender under another name. If you would like to explore this, our WIKI contains a pretty good description of what transgender is. Look at the link and if you have questions let us know.

The word Eunuch has a lot a negative baggage historically.  Many eunuchs throughout history were made eunuchs against their will and this will always be an association with the word.  This sort of practice of deciding for another person that their sexuality can be robbed from them at a young age without any say so is sadly still prevalent in much of the world in 2018.  Many girls in other cultures undergo the horrifying practice of Female Genital Mutilation that causes them to live the rest of their lives with no sexual functionality whatsoever other than reproductive ability.

This makes me think of game of thrones and something that would happen to a slave in a cruel historical context of a captured powerless person being castrated against their will. Do People really want to associate themselves with this or am I missing something?

There are non-Western cultures where eunuchs are/were considered a third gender, and in contexts like that you could argue they'd fall under the transgender label in our modern, Western paradigm that puts basically anything outside the binary under the trans umbrella.

But someone from outside those cultures using it may be bringing to mind the different, less pleasant connotations discussed by others in this thread instead.
