Some say that the more we shave our body the more darker and harder hair will grow from it.also the speed of growing hair increases.....the firdt time i shaved it lasted for around 4 weeks but 2nd time it only lasted for 23 days..

I've heard the same thing but it's only a falacy. I've been shaving my body for the past five years and I can easily get away with shaving it once or twice a month and I've found that the hair is a lot finer and not as course. It's kind of like shaving your legs, which I do every second week, and even there I've noticed the same thing.

I thought you were 15 years old? And you are growing hair? I am not trying to embarrass you but I don't understand how that is possible as concerning a thread you made about wearing girls clothes? I felt bad responding to the thread in what I said finding out your 15. I didn't grow hair on chest and stomach until I was in mid 20's. 

i have hair on my leg and hand which are quite noticeable whereas on my stomack they are so small that they are not even noticeable .......My mother used to tell me and many others that the more one saves the more harder and darker and faster the hair grows back.....i just wanted to know is saving ok foe legs and hands??

I was able to grow a full beard in six weeks by the time I was 15. My chest hair, which I did have then, too, was a visible way to display in the lockerroom during PE that I was "manly." Hey, I was a kid. A bit of a crass one, too.

I can still grow a beard in six weeks, much to my consternation. I did shave my chest once, but the hair there grew back in softer than before, albeit just as dark as before.

I've shaved my legs, but I don't remember how long it took for the hair to grow back. Not long, as I recall. I've never shaved my hands or arms.

Stop cutting yourselves and use Nair.   Takes 1/10 the time, is painless and ....  are you ready...  ..  wait for it... wait for it......  IT LASTS LONGER!
Just follow the directions, and dont reapply it if you miss a spot.  Just practice.  You will get the time adjustment down right before long.

Its a cream, you put it on for about 10 minutes then you wipe it and your hair off with a washcloth in the shower.
If you do it right, its better than shaving cause it also acts as a lotion.   Just don't leave it on too long or it will burn you.

Nair doesn't seem to work all that well for me, though it's been a while since I last tried it. That was on top of my head when I was going for as smooth a scalp as possible.

Perhaps it would work better on my leg/arm/chest hair as that seems to be finer.

The only time I tried Nair it was horrible.  It burned me so bad I felt like I was on fire.  And after that it left the hair!  Never again for me.  But I'm glad it worked for you.

They have a sensitive skin formula.  I would suggest trying that, and not to exceed the recommended time.
Additionally, a washcloth that is partially wet and a little pressure go a LONG way.

Nair has always worked okay for me . Different areas of the body need a little different time with the application I noted in my case. I also used a washcloth during the procedure which seemed to make it easier during the removal phase.

I tried my first Nair experiment this morning on my ankles. I used Nair for Men.

It seemed to work fairly well, and my skin doesn't feel irritated. But, it seems I didn't apply it evenly; I've got bald patches and hairy patches on my ankles. So, I'll have to practice.

Wouldn't it be nice if a pill was created that would cause all your body hair to fall out?   I'd take it in a heartbeat!

So long as it was only body hair, sure. I'd like to keep the hair on my head.

You might want to try a epilator http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epilator. There is shaving creams that slow hair regrow like Noxzema hair minimizing shave gel and Aveeno positively smooth shave gel.  I personal like the noxzema cream and use a Epilator. I can't use depilatory creams like nair. They burn me every time.

I got the Braun 5270 Silk Epil X`elle it was 60$. The first they are used on an area quite painful. They have cheap ones at walmart for 20$ but I never have used them. I don't have much body hair to begin with. I shave under my arms every so often. Shave my legs rarely and don't have much hair on my arms.

The best thing I ever did was go for laser hair removal. It takes a few sessions (over about 6-9 months), but it really does a great job of getting rid of unwanted hair. I had it done on most of my body, as well as my face.

It's a bit painful, but if you're seriously about hair removal, this is the way to go

I saw some folks recommending an epilator. I don't think I've ever experienced so much pain in my life before. Yikes!
At least for me it didn't seem to work any better than Nair (which works great, but don't use it on your face, or under your arms)
