Last week I scheduled an online appointment for a custom makeover at a local beauty store (name omitted because I'm not trying to promote a business).  Not only was it easy to set up the appointment, but there was a comments box where I noted that I'm transgender and currently still presenting in public as male.

When I arrived there, the staff were all great to work with.  They even had a transgender woman working there who answered some makeup and beauty questions I had as someone going from male to female.  The only downside was everyone walking past the store could very easily see me sitting there, but I'm beyond worrying about what other people think of me at this point.

If anyone is looking to improve their makeup game, I found the experience today to be very rewarding and useful.

If anyone has any other opportunities like this to share with me, I'm certainly open to the advice.
