is there anyone who got all their hair removed? how long did it take?

Two hundred and eighty something hours.  3 1/2 years.

It all depends on how much hair you have to begin with (and by "all their hair" are you referring only to the face or the entire body?).  I've had about 60 hours on the face, I think I'll be through by 100 hours.  But I never had anything near a full beard, either.

Just a question why don't you all just get laser. I know that it's not permament but even women have hair follicles on their face. Plus with HRT it will lessen some what too depending on the degree of hair.

I don't have a full beard either. Can't make those "beard shapes" that guys make.

If laser is non-permanent, how soon does the hair come back?

did you have alot of hair or not much?

Prior to HRT I had a lot but once I started estrogen, my facial hair became less coarse, but it was still there in the form of dormant follicles.  The first year I tried to do eight sessions a month but eventually I reduced them to one session a week.  Perhaps that is why it took too long?

well they say that it MAY possibly come back after like 5 years- it happens to a few people.

But I think in my theory that if you don't have enough to begin with. Like if you can go days without shaving and you get laser- it probably is killed for good.

PLUS Hrt can keep it away from re-activiting since androgens won't be able to recharge them...

Laser is pretty permanent if you're on estrogen. You may have a few follicles that won't die easy but we're talking about 95%+ reduction for a good candidate (fair skin and dark hair). For non-optimal types it will just take a bit longer with the new lasers and a good operator. It took me about 2 years of laser while on estrogen to clear my face.

a) laser didn't exist when tink did it
b) because laser doesn't work on blond hairs. I've had my face lasered three times and it's almost entirely clear on the cheeks but I can still grow a blond goatee.

Ummm....  My facial fuzz was half blonde...  and the newer laser/ipl machines are doing a good job at knocking them back as well *shrugs*  as technology improves things get better... 

Laser/IPL are considered perminant hair reduction instead of removal, because you might have some regrowth down the line... <older lasers did this infrequently, new lasers we dont know yet because there new LoL and noone has been "done" long enough to see if theres any regrowth>  and because they cant remove ALL the hair... so its perminantly reduced...  Also most people dont spend the time or money or get the right packages when doing laser/ipl...  they think that the basic 6 treatments are all that are necicary and stop there... If your going for laser be willing to take the time and look for packages that have "warenties" and the like...  Hair grows in stages... and you have to throughly kill EACH and EVERY set as it enters the growth stage... this is the only benifit of Electro...  If the hair is visable it can be killed...

When You get the appropiate laser treatment for yourself, you will see permenant hair "reduction", what this means is permenant hair removal of some of the hair.


It is greatly reccommended in these day and times, regardless of skin color, to consider laser for 5-6 sessions or more, and THEN electrolysis, the total cost is 1/10 of what just pure electro would cost.

FOR ME:

I have had one session with laser, on my face, legs, and crothc, also I have had one session on my armpits, chest, back, arms.

I am having the best result ever with laser, after every session+6 weeks I have exactly half the hair I had before.

Probally only 4-5 total sessions per body area.


I dont even know if I will need electro, I just started HRT and I am only 20, with late puberty, I am pretty sure these combos of factors will keep my total hair removal costs to sub $6000.00 for my entire body.

A perfectly hairless, never have to shave again body for $6000.00, I say SOLD.

Shoot I think I have heard of some having to pay like $14,000.00 for JUST THEIR faces!!!( in electroylisis.)

BTW I am Using the Alexandrite laser.

But these women have lasered their own twats, so I know there will be great empathy as she boils the follicles alive in my flesh.



edit: of course, i AM actually white as a sheet. Preferred skin-count-scan-somethinorother is low 600s for a white person, when i had my back lasered i was 740.
