I used to be a very active member. Just drifted away over time. No real reason other than life.

Anyways, I wanted to brag and sing about things. I have had SRS with Dr. Dugi at OHSU a week ago, I am convelesing and mending up.

Follow your dreams. It is a difficult path, but truth to self is the best.

If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Thank you all so much. It was touch and go early on...If you go through my posts over the early years you will see I was a mess.
There were people that were here when I first started that pretty much saved my life.

This site saves real lives.

Dr. Dugi is a good surgeon. Kind hearted, and tender in demeanor. His staff and medical peers are pretty good with their system of care.
He was really compassionate.
I have had 6 surgeries in my lifetime. I would say he has a top notch surgical skill with a moderate skill in bedside manner.
My big clue when finding surgeons is to study their fingers, steadiness of hand and sureness of movement.
Dr. Dugi has well maintained hands, small, and steady fingers. His grip is stronger than a smaller hand may indicate, perfect. When you hand papers or receive papers from a surgeon watch the paper to see how steady it is.
Smaller hands with strong grip and delicate dexterity are the way to go with a surgeon.

I would recommend him to other girls so far. I am just fresh post op, my opinion is only a bit valid.

It only took me 41 years from when I knew I would get SRS to eventually getting the surgery...

Laurie

Hi Cynthia,

I'm Laurie. I live in Tualatin so Dugi is likely the surgeon if I live long enough to have surgery that is. I'm glad to hear you thought he was good. We just had someone asking about him but there isn't much about him on here. We need more like you to give reviews for those who follow. I'm glad your operation went well and you are happy. Take it slow and easy recovery takes quite some time.

Hugs,
   Laurie
