Patricia Arquette Opens Up About Brother's Transgender Operation

Patricia Arquette admits feeling a sense of "loss" when younger brother Alexis announced his plans to become a woman. The "Medium" star had questioned her open-mindedness when she doubted her brother's transgender plans.

The 39-year-old actress says, "I had all the questions [for him] at first: 'Do you love yourself? Is it something that you want to change about the way you look?' I get concerned when anybody I love wants to do any change to the way they look - where's this coming from and why?"

Off topic but I was in a movie with her.   She's very rude.  See Holy Matrimony  1994  I was an extra as a hutterite boy.  I am smack dab in the middlle of some boys looking in on them through a window when they are eating.  Blond hair and blues eyes, thats me.  And yes I'll do autographs.  LOL

I've always thought of Alexis a bit 'out there' ("Killer drag queens on dope") but from what I'd heard before her brothers and sisters supported her.

Did Alexis im faq get the "transgender op", was not clear last year.
Looks way over the top in what I saw on Entertainment tonight.
I'd be surprised she'd get a letter seriously with the way she was talking.
I think she was talking about getting a breast implant or something, not
exactly the same thing eh.

In an article I read of her last year she stated she was pre-op. I'm not aware if that has changed.
