Hi every one.

I'm Ashley, 33 mtf.  I'm a former soldier and cancer patient, all of which is about 12 years behind me now.  I've also been Currently, I'm an engineer in the IT field/industry although I've tried to leave that field for EMS and as an entertainer - it just seems to keep calling me back.  In my free time, I work on some project cars with my partner, do some photography, writing music, and competitively figure skate.  I'm lucky enough, despite the cancer and HRT, to have a daughter of my own and a step daughter.

Last year, after getting a lesson on how insurance works, for me, I decided to engage the system and doctored up. I've been through a few Dr's for various things, but before end of summer got my two letters and on my way to "?completition?"  I often find it hard to find good words to use.  I started self prescribing my HRT during my chemotherapy, because why not at that point, and continued that trend until last year when I engaged the medical system.  I think that pretty much covers my story.

Thanks.  I tend to keep track of events worthy of conversation in a journal on my personal site.  Since I can't recall the rules on cross linking that, I just didn't.

@Julie, there are good places within IT to be at during this time - hopefully you're in one of them

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
