Sad but true have noticed that too over the years. Why? Cause place is so addicting, time consuming? Total "purge" like in those 'shameful' crossdressing days?
While first learned about, considered & attempted transition in late 70's (mail order for
Premarin in back of forget which N.Y.C. publication) did not fully subscribe to HRT until about 2005, not long after our 2'nd child was born. Atlanta has proved to be a very trans-friendly place. First therapist exclaimed "how long"(?) and basically will approve anything I decide to do which, absolute coward that I am, has ultimately proved to be "nothing" earth shattering at all!
Meanwhile BF "W**dy" has since had an 'orchi', BA, FFS then . . . divorced and disappeared from the planet!
While not all of us are "clinically depressed" in need of extensive "psych intervention" I have noticed that some (again not all) who do "
fully transition socially" - lol Non-Cowards - can often have other preexisting diagnoses, life issues as well.
But of course you say what is with that? Aside from the obvious difficulties always thought of transition as the ultimate "happiness solution" rather than a major problem in itself or an underlying symptom of something "mysteriously else"? Thus shamefully (a healthy thing?) I continue to hide within a mere "shell of a woman" and reluctance to continue with "group".
"Free time" is also a huge problem! Why can't life just
STOP and let us off (
for a while only not permanently of course) ??
