Northern Star Girl

Since going full time about a year and a half ago I have been "working" really hard to get my weight down and get that girlish figure that I want.   Since last fall I have lost a little over 20 lbs, I am now below my high school weight... I was a scrawny string bean in school.
I have lost almost 2 inches off of my band size (must have been some fat I lost up there) I am still a C cup thankfully so things are looking good up there and with some new bras in the smaller band size I fill out my new bras very nicely.  My waist is down almost 2 inches .....  BUT my hips and butt are still lacking..

Now the problem, most of my clothes are too big now.  My bra is on the tightest hook, my tops are baggy and my pants are falling off.
I went clothes shopping over the weekend and I ended up with fitted "medium" tops that fit and look great.  My jeans size has been a 10 that fits loosely... I ended up buying some skinny jeans and other pants in size 8 that fit perfectly.  I had size 10 leggings that were loose and no longer looking right and I replaced them with size 8... much better.   My panties size has been a 6 but I just bought a 3 pack of size 5 that fit nicely.
It appears that almost 3 years of HRT is doing it's job shaping my body and reducing body mass in the right places, except my butt.
***Question:  What are your experiences with HRT, weight loss, body changes, clothing sizes????

I was a skinny flat bean pole before HRT. Almost 9 years on hormones and I'm a skinny bean pole (5' 10" 146 pounds) with a perky pair of 34B's. I can wear women's 4's but  juniors 7's fit me better because I don't have much of a behind.

As for expectation - I had NONE!  I just needed a C cup or better to reduce the dysphoria of "flat chest".  I kinda wish I had gone with 450's instead of 400's.  Oh well, no one ever wishes they went smaller.

My experience is similar to yours.  Started the process needing a size 8 up top due to shoulders and a 6 on the bottom.  In pants, I was in a 30" waist.

The other day I went out and tried on 28" waist (not quite comfortable) so I stuck with 29".
I also was trying on size 6 dresses and was SWIMMING in some of them.  So now I'm between a 4 in some brands and 6 in others.

I'm not worried about my cup size changing much as, ummmmmm, the body doesn't absorb silicone. :)

The interesting part is my weight has not changed from 145.  That really means I'm at 143 with the two pounds of silicone in me.  I stand about 5"7' (6.5?) plus 3" heals makes it 5'10".  I can finally look the guys I work with in the eye!  Although I did catch one the other day not looking at my eyes!  :)

I started out at about 205 lbs.  I was overweight and out of shape.  My clothes sizes were around size 16.  Now I am smaller, lighter (179 lbs), in shape, and a lot stronger.  My clothes sizes now are around 10/12.

I started at 5'10" 245pounds wearing size 18.  I gained about 15 pounds between the 6 and 12 month point, but that was mostly due to laziness.  I was bordering on size 20.  Since then I've dropped 45 pounds and revealed a nice feminine, curvy figure.

I am down to size 15 for pants.  I still have to be judicious with tops though.  I still have broad shoulders for a lady and it seems my body likes to hold flab on the upper arms so even if I can reasonably for XL tops the arms still look silly so I have to go up a size often.  As far as dresses I can rock a 16 as of October so that's progress.  Not sure how much lower that will go due to the upper body.  I am a 38B and they fit great.  I have a little I could lose around the band, but given my large rib cage I don't see it ever getting below 36.  Boobs are still growing so who knows where the cup will end up.

Despite being top heavy I still look pretty decently proportioned because I have hips and a nice booty.  I can offer no advice about how to gain that, I had hips and a butt all my life.  It was a curse as a guy, but it's pretty awesome now.

Edit: added height and spelling.

I was pretty skinny before, and currently wearing the same size clothes I did 3 years ago.  Granted, they fit a bit more snug in the thigh, and I have a little bit more room in the shoulders.  However, I haven't actually changed sizes.  Merely filled out the same size a little differently.  My weight had gone down 30 lbs at one point and back up, then down again.  I generally fluctuated around 150 lbs +-20 lbs.
