Hey Gals,
So it's officially been one month and 1/4 on HRT (woohoo!). I was also told that my levels are within female range which seems quick to me. So far I've noticed softer skin and some breast changes but nothing else really. My libdo has definitely reduced but erections are still possible and fluid has reduced but there's still a fair amount.
I'm a bit worried that I won't see anymore reduction in the genital area and that I'll still have fluid during the big O. I
know it's only been about a month and I should be excited to even have breast development (Pretty sure I feel breast buds) but it just seems sooo slow and I'm just worried that I won't see a few things that I think I really need to "pass". Decent fat facial changes, muscle reduction in arms, legs, neck (oh god the neck....).
For those of you who have already gone through HRT for a few months what are your thoughts?
Thanks

Clairetheanalytical: This all very exciting.... for certain, HRT will bring big changes to your body, but bear in mind that what you read about other's HRT results and their transition timeline may not be typical for you and your body. Nothing happens really quickly so you need patience, these things can not be rushed, in fact, there is evidence if things are rushed with higher doses than the doctor prescribes that it can actually hamper breast growth and other body changes. That is why medically supervised HRT is not only the SAFE choice but also the best choice. Your doctor will continue to do regular blood tests and adjust dosages accordingly throughout your HRT regimen.
Again, nothing happens really fast but you will see small changes rather quickly like with your initial breast changes... and then more will be happening in it's own time... again
patience is needed. To see significant fat facial changes, muscle reduction in arms, legs, neck.... it may take more time.
For me: In my HRT history it wasn't until
at and after the 1st year that I saw some of this stuff happening like some muscle loss in arms and legs, some loss of libido, and somewhat diminished erections, BUT it was
not until the start and middle of my 3rd year of HRT that significant and noticeable body hair reduction and face changes became evident and the other changes became more significant..... But again... every body reacts differently. Obviously if you are a little overweight you won't see dramatic curves developing.
Wishing you well in your transition, and looking forward to your updates. (and more pics as things progress?)
