Quote from: Jenniferangelina on March 09, 2018, 12:38:32 PMHello I am overweight 240 pounds at 5 foot 5 inches. I am just wondering if I should start hormones now as I really want to jumpstart my journey or should I put a hold on it and wait till I lose a lot of weight like at least until my giant beer belly doessnt hang out any longer like 170ish pounds? And would starting hormones now make it harder for me to lose the weight? Thank you all so much for helping me out!

Quote from: Margaret_B on March 09, 2018, 08:22:37 PMI started off at 275 on 12/07/16 and am now down to 215 and still dropping. I found it not difficult to lose the weight as I finally gave a damn about me. I told my partner the fat shield needed to go and had the motivation to hit 220 for gcs. Changed my diet a bit, no longer stress eat and a large pizza is no longer a snack. Start your HRT when you feel it is right, you will know when no one can tell you. Best to you and your journey.
