OMG! If this article is true, its so Big Brother!!!

To limit the WORDS we are allowed to speak. Not only should people be worried about us losing the right to call ourselves transgender in the eye of government but its a step back for all CIS women that they would eliminate the MEDICAL term "fetus"
Its so they can move to take away the right of abortion from women.

I'm completely shocked!

That's due to the fundamentalist Christians backing Trump.  Since science conflicts with their beliefs, they try to limit it's influence.  We had the same problem in Canada a few years ago, with former Prime Minister Stephen Harper.  He gutted a lot of science in Canada.  Scientists working for the government weren't even allowed to discuss their work, without getting what they wanted to say approved by the government.  Some were fired outright.  The problem is religion conflicts with science and reality.  Their solution, ban anything that conflicts with their beliefs.  That's something that's been happening for many centuries.

This is while sane people need to vote.

Yesterday, the Conservatives (Canadian equivalent of Republicans) in Ontario elected their new leader.  This was after the previous leader quit after sexual assault allegations.  As there's an election coming up in June, they had to hurry to get a new leader.  They had the leadership vote yesterday, in what a newspaper called chaos, finally announcing the leader more than 6 hours after they were supposed to.  Here's a recent article about the results.

His brother, who was Toronto mayor, was caught on video smoking crack.  After much denial, he finally admitted it, in Oct. 2013.

Around here, the Fords have been called "Trump Lite".

It seems these Christians will back anyone, no matter how bad, so long as they support their religious agenda.  Another candidate claimed the Ontario sex education curriculum taught about anal sex etc.  She knew this because someone else had told her.  She hadn't even reviewed that curriculum, where she would have found that wasn't the case.

I remember saying censorship that starts seemingly for the "good", will be back to bite us in the ass. Censorship of any kind is a slippery slope. One day you'll think it's to protect your feelings, the next it'll be to take away your rights. Oppose ALL of it.
