Thanks a lot Judith Lynn!

I'm still working on the hand thing and am a little comfortable in 20 and haven't even gone for a dress yet.

I don't see myself as a dressy person but a year ago I wouldn't have seen myself as I am now - go figure on my figure :)

Seriously, I enjoy your threads!

OMG  Dress size.  Womens clothes are all over the place.  There should be a law.  Some makers are strict.  Follow standards and then I am a 16.  Some want to make me feel skinny and I fit a 10.  Really, in Gloria Vanderbilt "Amanda" jeans, they fit my no-bootie backside.
Then others make up their own sizes.  And I am a 2!!
I love Tommy Bahama clothes but they are strict so pants are 14 unless drawstring.  TB Knit dresses are ok at a Large. Less forgiving fabrics I have to go up a size to X Large (16).
After much trial and error my defining measurement is my shoulders and my "cool sculpting" target area.  I need 19 inches or forget it and 21 across my chest even boob-less.  But my need for comfort as a function of style says just get an XL and own it.  Seems to work.

US size 14 but it depends on the cut of the dress.

15 month on HRT and dress size has not changed. I am a bit odd shaped: Dress is usually a 14, sometimes a 12, sometimes a 16 depending on brand and style. Funny enough I can easily fit in size 10 skirts and pants, sometimes even in 8...

Cassi - Sorry dear but I've reported you to the moderator for the following points

1) posting in a thread about dress's where you clearly admit to not owning one!! (lol)

2) That's the second time you've called Kitchenpotpouri 'mommy' and ...well.....I just think..its time you got SPANKED!!!

3) Forcing me to reply to you - in which case the moderator is going to tell both of us off for saturating this thread with  awesomeness ( useless garbage lol)

Sonja out!

Depends on the dress/jeans/shirt/ and it´s maker. Sometimes size 36 is just fine, even 34, but sometimes even 40 is not ok.

At work I wear size Extra Small for trousers, even when I cannot wear that small trousers anywhere else. Shirt needs to be Small in size.

So you use same sizes in Australia as in UK? I suppose that's logical. AU/UK size 18 for me which I hope will change after a couple of years on HRT and some shapeliness!
