Has he had Lamingtons?  (A chocolate plus coconut treat)

Oh yes. I actually made him Lamingtons. They were ok but Lamingtons are something you just can't really make. Kind of like trying to make your own big Mac. Its just not the same. I also made him Damper. It's an Aussie soda bread. He loves it but I don't like it. My dad didn't like it either and Tyler just flat out called it nasty.  Lol

Has anyone tried beef tongue?  Was it good or bad?
Properly prepared, beef tongue may be the best cut of beef on the cow. The flavor is good and it's very tender. The skin on the tongue is removed so it's no different than eating a rump roast.

That's true. I made beef tongue once but I didn't tell my dad or Tyler it was tongue.  They absolutely loved it and told me what a good job I had done on the meat. Lol

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I tried some pickled daikon radish in Japan. It went onto my list of things that I will only do once and never again.

Have your neighbor show you how to batter and fry Okra. I think you will decide that not all Okra is bad.

Okra can be tasty.

So can some pickles.
